At last weekend i thought of doing many thing, but rush-hour of week fades out everything you thought off doing over the course of week. But well here that time of a 7 day week again, thinking and planning, but this time dont know if i have much time to plan. Visiting a family friend on Saturday morning, Hosting a friend and his friends from Chennai in evening, then Sunday is mayhem. Metallica is here in Bangalore. supa-dupa excited for that.. the music on which i grown up.. is here. Quite a tidy weekend I must say. Though the show has been postponed at Gurgoan due to some "Technical Glitch". One of the biggest bullshit on the planet is "Technical Glitch", i hope that shit doesn't happen in bangalore.
Thinking of changing thing for a long time.. but bloody dont get enthu for one single thing, just wondering what has happened to my creativity.. I have becoming a Kolhu ka bail (an Ox). Unless someone assign me work, ain't gonna do anything. Should be doing something really important for my own, in my own way.. just dont know how prioritize. somebody suggest, I really doubt, someone will actually read it. lol.
Learning of the week: well, this "so-called" "Professionalism" which should be "imbibed" in you, is the biggest bullshit. why cant people be normal and take it easy. They will die for dead line.. So dont get it facking imbibed but atleast pretend "professional". This will save hell lotta energy. Second learning, working with Indian Customer is pathetic. Avoid, unless very urgent.

APIs and you!

Just a Thought for my fellas,

You must have heard, read & studied about proxy and caching in http servers. But then the thought came up to start sharing the thoughts in my way, the way I look at things.

These days I have been spending whole lot time on non-motivating things, like the job I do. I work hard, get into a good organization looking out for new challenge, but all I have found is mediocre rules and pointless stress. Specially the new jobs is hellmounting stressful, nothing rocket science but a weird sense of havoc is all around. And I can't rocknroll with this pointless stress. So this day I m marking as a new stance, that I work the way I want.

I have been working on some ideas and technologies, but i subsided them to focus on the work & associated technology. What an experience it was. We ride everyday, you hover on sides on turns on city road, but all that nothing come closer to the thing you experience on a race track. The first time your boot or knee touches(just a mild touch) the concrete, believe me, from toe to head, your entire body shakes with all together different sensation, for a moment world comes to a stand-still.

Well, this morning I got up late, and it was only 10AM reached on the track, and the temperature was already too hot. The Track day was started at 6.30 in morning, but on their website they have mentioned it as 9 AM only. So after Formalities, I was on the track, First time! an experience rider offered me to follow him for one lap so that i understand basic riding protocols on the track. First session(30 mins) was a bit scary. I wouldn't say I really enjoyed a lot. My hovering was bad! i could not pull speed. Everybody(they also had far better machine than me though) was passing across me. Plus 40 degree centigrade temp on top of that. But in few laps i was able have a bit of understanding of the track and its curves.

After finish first session i was about to give up it, and go home, but somehow, not so easily exit i wanted so after half n hour i was again back on track. This time it was better. I was loving it. Though there was not much improvement on hovering on sides, but i was able to do better speed. And I was loving it and having fun, thinking that let this curve come i will tilt bit more, will brake a bit later, blah blah. This time on a curve my boot touched the ground, and it really shook me up, almost lost control of machine for a moment, but the same time Gordon's advice worked, Don't Panic! i released the throttle apply a little rear break to bring it back in control. It worked fine. but yes, it was an experience. In second last lap there was a small crash ahead of me, so there was a bit of oil on a curve, thank god people were there to indicate that to me, and in the last lap on 9th or 10th curve, immediately as I came out of it pulling the full throttle there was PIG on the race track. damn it! but it moved quickly aside. I was happy after this session, came to know many things which i can do better in next session. it was really hot, and already 1PM, I thought I should go home now, but some how i thought that lets push it for one more session. 3rd session was most amazing one, though i could not overtook experienced riders but hell yeah i over couple of riders who were comparatively new, finally i had something to console myself with.In this session I again lost a bit control on a particular curve, applied rear brake, motorcycle was quite tilted at that time, and as i touched the break motorcycle wobbled like a camel ride. Motorcycle was too tilted for tyres to have much of the friction on road. First time I understood how tyres are burns on a race track. This session was really good, did better speeds, better turns, I could see the improvements in speedometer. On same curves i was doing 10-20 kmph extra than my first and second session laps. May not be impressive for many people but I'm happy with the performance.

there are many things or I would rather say questions and doubts, I came back home with from track, which I will pen down as follows,

1) On which curves you should enter on inner side(Left) and come out outer (right), or enter on outer side(right) and come out inner side(Left) ?

2) At what moment shall I use my knee, I was too scared of touching my knee on curves this time.

3) The MAIN issue: I can't hover like what Gordon suggested. staying on legs( no resting on seat), and hovering left and right on curves. I faced problems when there were immediate right curves after left, or vice versa. on that speed i could not do that smoothly. I always lost a bit balance whenever i tried this on mentions curve. by "Lost balance" I mean here is, as i switch left to right motorcycle wobbled badly.

4) I understood the when to break on curve, but when to release the throttle is something I struggled with. should it be done at same time we apply break or well before that.

I know I m excited to tell you all that, but i know i'm rumbling little to much i guess, so I will stop.

PS: There were sessions of racing teams between our sessions, their superbikes on racetrack were the fastest thing I ever seen so far.Specially "Red Rooster Racing" team machine.

About the photos, I went there alone, so couldn't get even one. so if i found somebody who might have taken photos, I will upload.

Justise in rule of Congress: Nathuram Godse vs Ajmal Kasab Cases

Before, I pen the pinnacle of injustice in Rule of congress based on two cases, Ajmal Kasab and Nathuram Godse, i would like to introduce them to you,
Nathuram Godse,
Nathuram Godse was born in Baramati, Pune District . His father, Vinayak Vamanrao Godse, was a post office employee. Nathuram Godse attended the local school at Baramati through the fifth standard, after which he was sent to live with an aunt in Pune so that he could study at an English-language school. During his school days, Gandhi was an idol to him.
He was the Editor of newspapers, Agrani & Hindu Rashtra.
Reasons Behind Rejection of Gandhi:
1) Gandhi was sacrificing Hindu interests or Broadly Indian interests in an effort to appease Muslim interests.
2) He blamed Gandhi for the Partition of India, which left hundreds of thousands of people dead in the wake of religious unrest.
3) India agreed to give 420 million rupees to the newly formed Pakistan.

In brief, Nathuram Godse was a well educated Intellectual, A news Paper editor, and most importantly a great Freedom Fighter. but he killed Gandhi.

Now
Ajmal Kasab
Kasab comes from Faridkot village in the Okara District of Punjab, Pakistan. His father makes a living selling dahi puri his elder brother Afzal, 25, works as a laborer in Lahore.
He left home after a fight with his father in 2005.
He then became involved in petty crime with his friend Muzaffar Lal Khan, soon moving on to armed robbery. On Dec 21, 2007, Bakr-Eid day, they were in Rawalpindi trying to buy weapons when they encountered members of Jama'at-ud-Da'wah, the political wing of Lashkar-e-Taiba, distributing pamphlets. After a brief chat, they decide to sign up for training with the Lashkar-e-Taiba, ending up at their base camp, Markaz Taiba.
He with 9 other terrorists is responsible of killing atleast 173 and injuring over 308 people, and destroying property of over a Billion rupees in Mumbai 26/11 2008 attack.
==
This was the profile of Nathuram Godse and Ajmal Kasab,

Case on Nathuram Godse,
Nathuram Bowed Gandhi, Said sorry and shoot him 3 times, then he made no attempt to escape and quietly surrendered.
H was put on trial beginning 27 May 1948, on 8 November 1949, Godse was sentenced to death. and on 15th November is was hang to death along with Narayan Apte.

Ajmal Kasab,
Along with 9 more terrorist responsible of killing atleast 173 and injuring over 308 people, and destroying property of over a Billion rupees in Mumbai 26/11 2008 attack.
caught on 26 Nov 2008, but still far away from justice.
India Today has again started the talk with Pakistan.

Is this how you define justice!

This is one of the acts of Anti-Nation and Pro- Congress/Gandhi propaganda of Indian National Congress. Everyday i feel more and more suffocated staying in country whose public is made blind with self interest propaganda, and that party is still ruling. Everyday i mourn for Netaji, Lal-bal-pal and lakhs of other Freedom fighters gave their lives, who wanted to rebuild this greatest country. But Unfortunately aisa ho na saka.

Telangana

Telangana would be the 29th state of Republic of India. There are many reactions on it, some goes with it some goes against. Now as I see it as, Smaller states do have benefits, Bigger states always have bigger administrative problems,, and specially when the state is having different cultural regions. For Example Uttarakhand, "Western UP", "Kanpur Region ( i dont know what they call it) and purvanchanchal(Eastern UP) they are way too different in cultures, economic, and intellect level. But because of poor administration and policies "Western UP" which was the highest per Capita Income area, now on the fall and becoming the one of deprived and backward area in India, Industries are getting shut or forcefully shut down by unofficially supported mafias , Farmers are on the verge of breaking down( Not to mention this is the most fertile area on Asian continental), All Academic institution lost political lust, New generation is very incompetent for industry and organization, despite of being very smart and Intelligent.
They separate the Uttarakhand 10 years ago, and see the result. Uttarakhand is 4th on highest growing State, remember they have the toughest circumstances , 90 percent of uttarkhand is Hilly where you cant do agriculture or setup industry, but still its doing good. States so formed with struggle and demand of people makes the moral of general public high, which boost the most essential element of "Honesty", and that makes a huge difference.
But on the counter, Is there any reliable and mature leader(with reliable & more importantly honest associates) to lead Telangana? There are more problems then advantages with "region" specific States. Most of "new state formation group" have more of a private agenda then "Public" agenda. For example "Jharkhand mukti morcha", led by shibu Soren, he was the hero and whole sole of Jharkhand, but what happened than, he looted out Jharkhand in 2 terms until rooted out, and went to jail. So more of less the intention of the volunteer leader and his group matters a lot. Now my question is as someone who has a little knowledge of Telangana Region and the problem on being associated with AP, do you trust the leader of this movement? and how will he address & resolve the issue of nation-wide known issue as, Farmers' protection, Drought, poor state of Agriculture and the Naxalites?

Konai Waterfall Ride

This Sunday, after a long while I decided to go on a trip with a group. Normally I prefer going alone or with one friend, but sometimes it’s much better to choose guys having fun kind of trip! Okay, I was a new joiner with the renowned motorcycling club Madras Bulls. We had a monthly meet at Adyar Café Coffee Day at morning 7, and after the meeting A Trip to Konai Waterfalls. So after brief introduction we about 50+ riders, 2 Yamahas and rest bullets, hit the road for konai at 7:45 AM. Our first stop was Jain Vegetarian Dhaba(but really was a south Indian) after Porur approximately 35 Kms away from Chennai. It was a nice place for eat out. Many of the other members came till this point to give us company. Okay, after breakfast, we said bye to many accompanied riders and we 30+ people took right turn to Thiruvalluvar from NH4. Ride till thiruvallur was good. Riding in a group is oxymoronic , sometime it can dangerous because if something goes wrong with the leading rider, you won’t have much time to respond, but it is pretty safe and fun too, if you leave this aspect aside. You normally don’t get tired and can cover distances much faster than riding solo. Thiruvallur was a busy full of nasty crowded roads, haywalkers, cows and what not, took about 20 minutes to cross it with many hiccups and confusing roads. After Thiruvallur we took the highway which connects it to devsthanam Tirupati Balaji. I was amazed to see the road quality, probably the contractor must have been big devout and god-fearing, so he made this pretty nice road. There was very sparse traffic, only few herds after every second village. On both sides of the road there were gigantic lash green plains, and the green hills were in the far away sight. It was just perfect. But how could it have been perfect, as I mentioned earlier, cow herds were after every 10 kms, than this herd was the biggest of all and most number of calves. These 2 young calves got panicked who were tied together. The rider who was ahead of me, somehow managed to skip, but my view was blocked as he was just next to me, That wasn’t enough, his bike had that free flow exhaust, loud enough to trigger any alarm. That made these two calves ran amok in opposite sides, I though they will run toward the field on left which animals normally do when they panic, I swung the motorcycle to right with breaking hard, but they suddenly changed the course of run to right and that was it I hit the Disk to save them but I was just too late, next moment I was landing on road…. Fresh Meat! \m/

My Crashguard bent and reached till engine, I was expecting the torn off forearm, broken knee and wrist with my previous experiences, but this crash guard along with the good wishes of my well wishers saved me, I miraculously escaped with slightly injured knee, wrist and palm injuries. Fellow riders assembled in next moment, ran to me, but I got up myself and bike! Hell yeah!

We had to take a small break, which in a way turned a feg & flicker break. After a while we pushed hard in last stretch to final destination Konai Waterfalls.

We reached Konai about 12:30 PM. There was normal local crowd, with few outsiders. Despite of the fact it wasn’t a very well known place of outsiders, the security check by policemen before entering in the region was way comprehensive and better than what we see in urban areas. After parking our bikes, we start trekking towards the fall. Pious & reverence of devotees is visible everywhere in South India. Konai was no exception there were a several temples on a small 300 meter trek, including one big Lord Shivalinga.

Well due to dry season, the main Kodai fall wasn’t exciting. The height of fall was good location was good but good quantity of water was missing. It was rocky, not even a hint of mud. I was disappointed and didn’t even step in the basin. One of the fellow riders had been here, and he suggested climbing to next level of fall. So, I with a fellow rider started for next level, it was completely rocky trek, with modest effort requirement. It was a 20 minute trek, but the mercury was rising high, so this small 20 minutes were exhausting after a 130 km ride. We saw a few people coming down, on the way up who slipped on trek, and ripped their bones, skull, muscle etc. After reaching there it was like a small pond where the water flowing from last level was logging. Few people were already there which were seemed to be drunk. So we skipped this level and climbed for next level. It was not a lengthy but steep and risky. By this time 4 more riders joined us. So we climbed the next level. It was nice! Basin of waterfall here was size of a small private pool, it was nice, and no one else was here. So I sat on rock to catch a breath, by this time two of my fellow riders stepped into water. It was damn hot outside; sitting on rock was doing no good to me, so I put on my swimwear and jumped in natural spring mountain water. Ahh lovely! It worth all the ride and crash! There were tiny fishes were also there in that water, I have never got into water with fishes so it was an experience to remember. They were coming near touching (for me it was tickling) and running away, I guess they were having much more fun than I was.

After an hour, we started for base. There were a few humorous moments, as 2 of fellow heavy weight guys stuck on a rock, and were not able to descend.

When we reached at the base, several riders have left by then. There was one more group there, they asked for joint photos. So, we had a small photo session, and we rode back for some place to eat on the way to Chennai. It had been only 20-30 minutes riding, and there you go, rain had started, not a drizzling, heavy rain. Drops hitting like a stone. We had to pull over, but it was a waste of to stay there, so after a while we started in rain. Lovely Rain ride, after a really long time I was doing a Rain Ride. Best thing about rain riding is it eases out your tension, complication and your mood just swing into right way. We had lunch at a south Indian highway eatery. By then, rain stopped.

Our next stop was, Poondi Reservoir and Dam, it is in Tiruvallur Taluk. I must tell you it was the most beautiful made thing I have seen in last couple of year. And not just that, the Irrigation Department made couples of miles long road along with it, so the visitors especially couples can stroll around. Though reservoir was almost dried, but still it was beautiful. You would want to sit on the boundary and look in horizon, water and mountains – faraway. I’ll add more photos that will explain how beautiful it and peaceful it was. Probably a pair of nice crystal wine glasses and Domaine Chandon Green Point Victoria Shiraz would complement it best.

After spending an hour or so here, we cruised towards Chennai. We regroup near porur, had tea together and said adios to each other and wishing each other to see on next monthly meet or on next ride.

Ahhh!When is the next ride

Muchos Gracias !

"I can no other answer make, but, thanks, and thanks."
I want to say all my friends, family members and well wishers, Thank You for your wishes on my birthday. It is ubiquitous. Yet what does it all mean? Why people are more relaxed in green rooms? Why weightlifters do their best in blue rooms?

Colors often have different meaning in different cultures. And even in our contemporary societies, the meanings of various colors have changed over the years. But today many researchers have generally found many of the myths to be accurate.
Going more on the line lets have a look what every colors says:

Black:

Black is the color of Authority, power and secrecy. The “Black Shirts” were the special security troops in Hitler’s German army. Black is also associated with sophistication and elegance. It’s popular in fashion because it’s also stylish and timeless and it makes people appear thinner. Black also implies submission. Catholic priest wear black to signify submission to god. Fashion experts says, a woman wear black implies submission to men. Also there are many phrases on black, like Blackmail, blackwash, blackout and many more.

White:

White symbolizes innocence and purity, Christian brides wears white gowns, White flag is universal symbol of truce, even in myths, Angels are usually depicted wearing white robes. It also represent neat and cleanliness, like whitewash, white room is dust free room, doctors and nurses wear white because that imply sterility and hygiene.

Red:

The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. It is also the color of love. In Russia red means beautiful. Red cars are most popular target of thieves. Red is the most commonly found color in national flags. Red clothing gets noticed and makes the wearer appear heavier. Since it is an extreme color, red clothing might not help in negotiation or confrontation. In interior decoration red is usually used as an accent. Decorators say that the red furniture should be the perfect since it will attract attention.

The most romantic color, pink, is more tranquilizing. Sports steam sometimes paint the locker rooms used by opposite team bright pink so their opponents will lose energy.

Blue:

The color of sky and the ocean, blue is one of the most popular colors. It causes the opposite reaction as red. Peaceful, tranquil blue causes the body to produce calming chemicals, so it is often used in bedrooms. Blue is the color of loyalty and faithfulness, as the phrase “true blue” means loyal and faithful. Fashion consultants recommend wearing blue to job interview because it symbolizes loyalty. First prize always gets a blue ribbon. Also, people are more production in blue rooms. Studies show weightlifters are able to handle heavier weights in blue gyms.

Green

Currently the most popular decorating color, Green symbolizes nature, as it does in out Tiranga. It’s the easiest color on the eye and can improve vision. It is calming and refreshing color. Performers sit in green rooms to relax before any stage show or TV show. Hospitals often use green because it relaxes patients. Green is youthful, while dark green is masculine, conservative, and implies wealth.

Yellow:

Cheerful sunny yellow is attention getter. It’s an optimistic color and in India the color of festival of springs is yellow, a yellow ribbon is a sign of support for soldiers at front. It also have negative effect, like people lose their tempers more often in yellow room, and babies will cry more. It’s most difficult color to take in, so it can be overpowering if overused. Yellow enhance concentration, hence it’s used on legal pads, and to-do notes.

Purple

The color of royalty, purple connotes luxury, wealth and sophistication. The Egyptian queen Cleopatra loved purple. To obtain one ounce of purple dye, she had her servants soak 20,000 snails for 10 days.

Purple in child’s room is said to help develop the imagination according to color theory.

Leonardo da Vinci believed that the power of meditation increases 10 times when done in a purple light, as the purple light of stained glass.

It is also feminine and romantic. However, because it is rare in nature, purple can appear artificially.

Colors of our flag:

Bhagwa or saffron color denotes renunciation or disinterestedness. Our leaders must be indifferent to material gains and dedicate themselves to their work.

White:

The white in the center is light, the path of truth to guide our conduct.

Green:

The green shows our relation to soil, our relation to the plant life here, on which all other life depends.

Ashoka Chakra:

Though it’s not related to color psychology I would like to tell you what it means. The “Ashoke Chakra” in the center of white is a wheel of law of Dharma. Truth or Satya Dhrama or virtue ought to be the controlling principle of those who work under this flag. Again, the wheel denotes motion. There is death in stagnation. There is life in movement.

India should no more resist change, it must move and go forward. The wheel represents the dynamism of change.

There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot, but there are others who, thanks to their art and intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun. So Lets be the one who turned a yellow spot into the sun.

Vodka can save you !!

Aside from being a fantastic drink, vodka has many uses which you may not have known about. Reason: Pollution, Green House Gas effect, abating greenery, Deforestation and many more. And all of know the result will be devastating as ice age in near future. So we are going to do about it? All of us have many ideas, that government should put tab on emission norms, plant trees n all. But what about you? As a friend said, today leads tomorrow. What contribution are you going to make today for a better tomorrow?
Did you ever thought about how much energy resources you can save everyday with just small-small things. As the time consideration, I’ll just focus on two things:-
1) 20 seconds,
2) 1 hour,
20 seconds, you know very well Bangalore traffic, whenever u stuck, what is the thing which troubles you most if you are not in an A/C packed car. Pollution. Some time you feel die or go mad with the suffocation of smoke of vehicles. I have something to share to make your contribution to prevent this pollution.
Whenever you stuck in traffic, if the stopping time is more then 20 seconds (you may calculate it by the timer on red lights, or by experience of riding/ driving that how much time the halt going to take) You should stop the engine revs. From time you stopped the engine to the green light, you would have made a significant contribution not only to the environment, but your pocket and energy resources too. Imagine it collectively if it is done by most of us around I’m 100% sure, traffic jams and stucking at a red light will be far better and greener.

My second point, 1 hour, which is also termed as earth hour. Switching off your Systems for an hour. We normally spend 30 minutes to an hour in lunch session. In this duration our system is mostly idle . If we shut down the non-critical systems and lights over your cubical in this duration, you can save a massive amount of energy. So if we take a look at bigger picture, that it is being done collectively by all of your office, you can imagine what amount of energy we can save. You must be knowing that the major energy production is done by coal, so we are not only cutting down the energy consumed and electric expenditure of our organization we are actually save the planet from CO2 being emitted by power companies. Not only this, the time you leave the office if no critical task is running on the machine, or there is no some sort of resource sharing on the machines, then you can switch of the machine for whole night. Now this can be a massive amount of energy saved every day.
So by doing two such trivial things in everyday routine we can actually do quite a lot contribution to our mother planet earth.
Apart from this, I want to start a kind of campaign for plantation of trees at right and needed place. And there is no better place then EGL Biz park to do this. We have hundred of offices, buildings around which are centrally AC, which generate enormous heat and CFC which is responsible for Ozone Layer penetration. But anybody can guess the number of trees we have in this business park, the number would be even less then 10, if we exclude the palm trees outside Microsoft, which are of no use. Though we have many small green park, almost outside every office. Not only this the walk-ways are there which has sufficient space to plant trees, like we have ample space on the left side of the building. This space can be utilized best for the plantation of tree. And the offices in Biz parks can take care of these trees, after 3-4 years those trees will not only add beauty to the architecture of this business park but also made this greener.

Watching Earth from space, top-10 views of Earth

A Must watch,
http://content.techrepublic.com.com/2346-1035_11-198402-1.html

http://content.techrepublic.com.com/2346-1035_11-198476-1.html

100 Writing Tips

100 Writing Tips

Every sentence should make sense in isolation. Many words can ostensibly be deleted.

  72. In your quest for clarity, stop at nothing.

  73. Complete mastery of the English language comes with conscientious study, notwithstanding around in bars. Moreover the next page. Inasmuch detail as possible.

  74. Sporting analogies won’t even get you to first base.

  75. If you must quote, quote from one of the all-time greats (Cedric.P. Snodworthy, 1964).

  76. In the absence of a dictionary, stick to words of one syllabus.

  77. Steer clear of word-making-up-ism.

  78. Readers will not stand for any intolerance.

  79. If there’s one thing you must avoid it’s over-simplification.

  80. Double entendres will get you in the end.

  81. Vagueness is the root of miscommunication, in a sense.

  82. Don’t bother with those “increase-your-word-power” books that cost an absorbent amount of money.

  83. Self-contradiction is confusing, and yet strangely enlightening.

  84. Surrealism without purpose is like fish.

  85. Ignorance: good writers don’t even know the meaning of the word.

  86. The spoken word can look strange when written down, I’m afraid.

  87. Stimpy the Squirrel says “Don’t treat the reader like a little child.”

  88. Intimidatory writing is for wimps.

  89. Learn one new maths word every day, and you’ll soon find your vocabulary growing exponentially.

  90. My old high school English teacher put it perfectly when she said: “Quoting is lazy. Express things in your own words.”

  91. She also said: “Don’t use that trick of paraphrasing…… [other people’s words]…… inside a quote.”

  92. A lack of compassion in a writer is unforgivable.

  93. On a scale of 0 to 10, internal consistency is very important.

  94. Thankfully, by the year 2016 rash predictions will be a thing of the past.

  95. There is no place for overemphasis, whatsoever.

  96. Leave out the David Hockney rhyming slang.

  97. Bad writers are hopefully ashamed of themselves.

  98. Eschew the highfalutin.

  99. Sometimes you publish a sentence and then, on reflection, feel that you shouldn’t ought to have been and gone and written it quite that way.

100. Practice humility until you feel that you’re really good at it.

Most unfair thing about life

Most unfair thing about life

The  most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes  a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death. What is that, a  bonus? I think the cycle is all backwards. You should die first. Get it out of  the way. Then live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young.  You get a gold watch and you go to work. You work forty years until you're young  enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs and alcohol. You party. You get  ready for High School. You go to grade school and become a kid. You play. You  have no responsibilities. You become a baby. You go into the womb. i read an article which has even the photos, of new upcoming Honda Accord 2008;
The Accord is certainly one of Honda's most important products, and we can see from these shots that the sedan will look similar but not identical to the Accord coupe that was unveiled as a concept last January in Detroit and has already been spotted out in the wild. Brenda Priddy & Co. notes the sedan is lacking the honeycomb grille from the coupe and certain lines of the body are different. In my estimation, it's a fairly vanilla design, which is in keeping with this car's purpose of appealing to the largest demographic possible in the midsize sedan segment.

While this mule was likely a four-cylinder model, we expect a new 3.5L V6 from Honda for the Accord with at least 270 horsepower when the car debuts later next year. Expect lower emissions, however, and tricks like cylinder deactivation to increase the car's fuel economy at the same time.

The four-cylinder, meanwhile, will likely have around 180 horsepower. Its something which must be desirable to every techii ..
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mRMil9wYxpo/RsWWCABQKYI/AAAAAAAACGQ/kFq_Gv6YVVw/s320/MS+SC_3-4+View.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5099647114176113026" />

Microsoft Surface (Codename: Milan), is a forthcoming product from Microsoft which is developed as a software and hardware combination technology that allows a user, or multiple users, to manipulate digital content by the use of natural motions, hand gestures, or physical objects, similar to the futuristic computer screens portrayed in Minority Report. It was announced on May 29, 2007 at D5, and is expected to be released by commercial partners in November 2007. Initial customers will be in the hospitality businesses, such as restaurants, hotels, retail, and public entertainment venues.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mRMil9wYxpo/RsWWugBQKaI/AAAAAAAACGg/8DSv3l7XuG0/s320/MS+SC_Screenshot+FoodBev+App.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5099647878680291746" />

Surface is essentially a Windows Vista PC tucked inside a black table base, topped with a 30-inch touchscreen in a clear acrylic frame. Five cameras that can sense nearby objects are mounted beneath the screen. Users can interact with the machine by touching or dragging their fingertips and objects such as paintbrushes across the screen, or by setting real-world items tagged with special barcode labels on top of it.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mRMil9wYxpo/RsWWYABQKZI/AAAAAAAACGY/B08RmBEMIWs/s320/MS+SC_Collab+Map+App.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5099647492133235090" />

Surface has been optimized to respond to 52 touches at a time. During a demonstration with a reporter, Mark Bolger, the Surface Computing group's marketing director, "dipped" his finger in an on-screen paint palette, then dragged it across the screen to draw a smiley face. Then he used all 10 fingers at once to give the face a full head of hair.

In addition to recognizing finger movements, Microsoft Surface can also identify physical objects. Microsoft says that when a diner sets down a wine glass, for example, the table can automatically offer additional wine choices tailored to the dinner being eaten.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mRMil9wYxpo/RsWXAwBQKbI/AAAAAAAACGo/1rg2Y9fRdbs/s320/MS+SC_Screenshot+Retail+App.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5099648192212904370" />
Prices will reportedly be $5,000 to $10,000 per unit. However Microsoft said it expects prices to drop enough to make consumer versions feasible in 3 to 5 years.

PS: i must recommend u to visit the Microsoft Surface website; it will a great experience.

Updation in Fedora 7.

This june Fedora community has released the newest version of fedora, fedora 7, which promises a better desktop, softwares and improvement in virtuallization.

This release includes significant new versions of many key components and technologies. The following sections provide a brief overview of major changes from the last release of Fedora.

Spins
For the first time, Fedora includes several different spins, which are variations of Fedora built from a specific set of software packages. Each spin has a combination of software to meet the requirements of a specific kind of end user. In addition to a very small boot.iso image for network installation, users have the following spin choices:

GNOME and KDE desktop environment based bootable Live images that can be installed to a hard disk. These spins are meant for desktop users who prefer a single disk installation and for sharing Fedora with friends, family, and event attendees.
A regular image for desktops, workstations and server users. This spin provides a good upgrade path and similar environment for users of previous releases of Fedora.

Desktop
This release features GNOME 2.18 and KDE 3.5.6.

Fast User Switching is well integrated within this release. Developers have enabled this feature through extensive development work on ConsoleKit and full integration throughout the distribution.

Display devices can be hot plugged and work automatically, thanks to the inclusion of Xorg Server 1.3.

This release provides a number of firmware packages for enhanced wireless networking. NetworkManager presents a graphical interface that allows users to quickly switch between wireless and wired networks for increased mobility. NetworkManager is installed by default in both GNOME and KDE Live CDs.

Fedora 7 includes a refreshing new "Flying High" theme, which is part of a continuous team effort from the community and the Fedora Artwork Project.

Firefox 2 includes a host of new features including an inline speller checker, built-in phishing protection, and the ability to resume browsing sessions.

I18N support is much improved by the presence the SCIM input methods, which now work after installation automatically without any configuration. SCIM can handle nearly every alphabet/set of characters in use. Fedora is now more accessible to a wider audience by the default inclusion of a number of language packages and input methods in the GNOME based Live CD.
A new comprehensive graphical administration tool for SELinux, system-config-selinux is available by default in this release. SELinux boolean settings have been removed from the system-config-securitylevel tool and added to this new administration tool instead.

The SELinux troubleshooting tool 'setroubleshoot' is enabled by default in this release. This tool provides notifications and detailed information to desktop users about any access denials by SELinux policy, along with suggestions on handling them.
This release features integration of a new FireWire stack in the kernel for more robust device handling.

Fedora now includes improved power management through implementation of dynamic ticks in the kernel.

This release partially consolidates dictionaries used by desktop applications, which provides a consistent desktop experience while saving resources.
Fedora now integrates the experimental nouveau driver within Xorg and the kernel. The nouveau driver, which is disabled by default in this release, aims to provide free and open source 3D drivers for nVidia cards. End users are asked to provide feedback on this feature to the project developers, to further the goal of having fully functional 3D drivers by default.

Performance
In this release, the performance of yum, Pirut, and Pup has been significantly improved.

System Level Changes
This is the first release to include support for Sony Playstation 3.
This release includes the 2.6.21 based kernel which integrates Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) technology with Fedora's graphical virt-manager and command-line virsh tools. KVM provides a hardware accelerated virtualization solution, and users have a choice between KVM and Xen, along with Qemu, in this release. The kernel included in this release also has support for VMWare's VMI interface.

In this release, all hard disk partitions follow a /dev/sd* naming convention due to a new libata driver interface in the kernel. The Anaconda installer eases the transition for release upgrades.

The mac80211 (formerly called Devicescape) wireless stack has been integrated with the kernel.

Smolt, an opt-in tool that sends anonymous hardware profile information to the Fedora Project, is integrated with firstboot in the installer. All data is available on the Smolt homepage. This profile information is used to leverage cooperation from vendors in improving end user hardware experience, and to priortize development and quality assurance on commonly used hardware.

The Fedora Directory Server base is now part of the Fedora software repository. The graphical console and administration servers are available on the website and are planned to be included in the repository after a review process.

Python 2.5 is included in this release, and all of the Python software available in the repository uses it.

This release of Fedora includes Liberation fonts, which are metric equivalents for several well-known proprietary fonts found throughout the Internet. These fonts give users better results when viewing and printing shared or downloaded documents.

iPhone restricts users, GPLv3 frees them

Thursday, June 28, 2007—On Friday, June 29, not everyone in the continental U.S. will be waiting in line to purchase a $500 iPhone. In fact, hundreds of thousands of digital aficionados around the globe won't be standing in line at all, for June 29 marks the release of version 3 of the GNU General Public License (GPL). Version 2 of the GPL governs the world's largest body of free software—software that is radically reshaping the industry and threatening the proprietary technology model represented by the iPhone.
The author of the the GPL is Professor Richard M. Stallman, president and founder of the Free Software Foundation, and creator of the GNU Project. With his first revision of the license in sixteen years, version 3 of the GPL fights the most recent attempts to take the freedom out of free software—most notably, version 3 attacks “Tivoization”—and that could be a problem for Apple and the iPhone.
Now, from China to India, from Venezuela to Brazil, from Tivos to cell phones: Free software is everywhere and it is slowly building a worldwide movement of users demanding that they have control over the computers and electronic devices they own.

Tivoization and the iPhone?“Tivoization” is a term coined by the FSF to describe devices that are built with free software, but that use technical measures to prevent the user from making modifications to the software—a fundamental freedom for free software users—and an attack on free software that the GPLv3 will put a stop to.
The iPhone is leaving people questioning: Does it contain GPLed software? What impact will the GPLv3 have on the long-term prospects for devices like the iPhone that are built to keep their owners frustrated?
Peter Brown, executive director of the FSF said, “Tomorrow, Steve Jobs and Apple release a product crippled with proprietary software and digital restrictions: crippled, because a device that isn't under the control of its owner works against the interests of its owner. We know that Apple has built its operating system, OS X, and its web browser Safari, using GPL-covered work—it will be interesting to see to what extent the iPhone uses GPLed software.”
You can help spread the message

The GNU GPL version 3 will be released at 12:00pm (EDT)—six hours before the release of the iPhone—bringing to a close eighteen months of public outreach and comment, in revision of the world's most popular free software license.

Red Hat releases Fedora Core 5

The Fedora Project, a Red-Hat-sponsored and community-supported open source collaboration, today announced that the latest version of the popular Fedora Core Linux distribution, Fedora Core 5, is now available. Fedora Core 5 features the best in leading edge technologies, including new desktop applications, advances in security and Xen virtualization.

"Fedora Core 5 is the first distribution I feel truly involved and excited by," said Thomas Chung, Fedora Community Ambassador. "I'm sure I share this feeling with many Fedora contributors who have witnessed the birth from the very beginning. I can almost feel what a expecting father will experience with his first child. Fedora Core 5 is truly a great accomplishment in technology."

Improvements to popular applications and a wide variety of new applications and desktop tools make Fedora Core 5 exceptionally flexible and user-friendly. Enhancements include:

Tomboy, an easy-to-use and efficient note-taking tool, is already changing the way that Fedora users and developers work.

F-Spot to make managing digital photographs easier than ever.

Accelerated Indirect GLX (AIGLX) support. Developed in partnership with the upstream Xorg community, AIGLX provides the foundation for GLX-accelerated effects on a standard desktop. While this can mean eye-catching effects, it also provides a platform for creating a high-performance, efficient, and visually elevated desktop.

Power management has been improved with GNOME Power Manager, included in this release. The GNOME screensaver package is included, with a new Fedora screensaver to accompany it.

Ongoing integration, testing, and development ensures that laptop 'suspend and hibernation' features work with a greatly increased number of hardware combinations.

Support for the widely-used Broadcom 43xx wireless chipsets in the Fedora Core 5 kernel, which is based on the 2.6.16 kernel release. This feature will be of particular interest to users of Apple hardware.

Advances in multimedia applications built around the free Xiph.org codecs.

The latest Firefox 1.5 web browser offers improvements in speed, stability, security, and accessibility.

The most recent version of OpenOffice.org 2.0.2 introduces OpenDocument support, a new enhanced database frontend, a mail merge wizard, and better PDF export capability.

New releases of both GNOME 2.14 and KDE 3.5 bring a many new features and improvements to the Fedora desktop.

Xen, the leading open source virtualization project, is included in Fedora Core 5. This version of Xen is based on the latest Xen 3.0 development branch, with support for both 32-bit and 64-bit x86 hardware. A Xen guest install script, created by Fedora developers, allows users to set up virtual machines quickly and easily. Xen's advances in Fedora Core 5 represent a critical next step in the development of commercial-strength virtualization on Linux.

Parikrama Pro Show

Parikrama Show:[24th Feb]

The Campus of our college “National Institute of Technology, Calicut , is rocking with its cultural fest “RAGAM’06” this season, started on 22nd of this month will continue till 26th.

Pro show of prikrama was the first of the most awaited show, as second one is STRING’s Show on 25th Feb and all. Being a punk and big time rock admirer I was waiting for it like anything, The expected start time infact announced show time for PRIKRAMA Pro show was 7:30 evening, and I didn’t wanted to loose evn a single bit of it, so geared up at 7 and had dinner by 7:30, and reached at the venue, OAT [Open Air Theater] by 7:45. but by that time, even I was 15 min late nothing was started, even the stage wasn’t ready by that time. It took around 20 min to fix everything,
All of the Parkrama members were in full sprit, very energetic. Well they started with some induction, and Kick of the A** AC/DC number “Its Long Way[ Album -High Voltage] . It was really awesome, I was hearing Prikrama Live for the first time, I never imagine that any Indian can sing this song so well; Nitin [Lead Vocal] did it perfectly. Well Parikrama Guys are big time fan of PINK FLOYYD and DOORS [Jim Morris], and most of the songs were their. I was pumping the volume in the first row in front just next to the stage, it was so energetic out there, all the punks were around. Well After the AC/DC, next track was of Pink Floyd’s “High Hopes” of album Pulse; so this way show was keep on rocking;
Audiences at the back which was not actually much interested in this rockin stuff was just like watching like a JAGRAN sort of stuff, so to pump the energy in house band took initiative and sung the song “We Will Rock you [ I guess no
need of details of this song]”, and they interacted the whole of the crowd with this song, this was awesome when everybody was singing altogether. During the show they played Def Leopard, and in between they fusion it with “ Sare Jahan Se achha Hindustaan Hamara…..” it was really amazing. Parikrama also played there own numbers Like “ Whiskey Blue”, “Load up” and all, and the one was specially for we Computer Science guys, “Superman” its based on a life of software guy, ;)

A biker, A Techii , A sporty, A... just ABY..

Hi, Here i go with my trip of KodaiKanal on new year eve .....
Earlier we Planned to go to kovalam Beach, but when we reached the Bus was full, only 5 seats were available, n we were 8 people, then we went to state gavrnrment bus stand, the bus was again full, then we went to Railway station, took General Ticket, But after seeing the crowd at station and the Train was already fully stuffed ! we withdrawn the Idea, i was litreally flewing into fury, and dint have Idea what to do now,
then finally we decided for KodaiKanal, we heard the name of the place as it is very beautiful, but had no Idea about it, so we hired a Taxi, it was a hectic job to find out a taxi at 1 AM at night, but any how we got it, We drive it back to campus to get out Warm Cloths n stuff, and taken rest for 2 hrs.

At 5 Am we left for KodaiKanal, We took our First Break at Palkkad Distt of Kerala after trvlling 150 km, we had brkfst here, then on the way we saw WIND MILLS over a wide Range of area(In Tamilnadu), None of us have ever seen such a huge windmills, U can get the idea about the Size of it by its Blade,a single blade was 150 FT LONG !!! After spending sm time here move ahead, for some more place, and the the end we reached at the Silent Vally View, becuz after this it was a restricted area, and u need to take permission from forest department to go into jungle....

But i wanted to go inside anyhw at any cost, so i talked with the incharge at that check post by asking him for some other provision, he smiled, and ask me to talk to his senior after some time as at that time hell lot of crowd was there. After a while I talked to him, i given him some Bribe, he gave us a permission letter, and he gave us some sort of precautions for not to do some perticular things.
Here we start with real fun , we never saw such an beautiful, no commercialization, no safety measures, it was a no men land, we hardly see some one else in that whole time, our first stop was silent vally. It was really really amazing !! we have to track for a KM to reach at it, we could see all the cliff arround, all the places we had been earlier, and ofcourse the vally with a depth of over 2000 Ft, after spending time here we moved for the fire house, it is the hightest Point of Nilgiri Mountain range. its the place which has vallies on both of its side, that is either way you slip next stop will be 2500 ft down. This was the place which was worth to see for everyone, those moments are ..... I will never forget the site i saw on that day that Bed of Clouds....
after visiting some more places, we returnd to city, on the way back we saw a tree of 500 Yr age. !!

After coming to city we did some Boating in the lake , after that the most enjoying part , Cycling on a double seated cycle.
